Personality: Boo Boo really just wants to live a quiet, peaceful life in Jellystone Park. Though the best friend and constant companion of Yogi Bear, he's reluctant to take part in the other's schemes, and often tries to serve as a voice of conscience for Yogi. In fact, his catchphrase "But Yogi, Mr. Ranger isn't gonna like this" best sums up his attitude as a moral, mature, and rational bear. He always has a calm, laid-back demeanor, except in truly dangerous situations. Boo Boo has plans to leave Jellystone Park and travel, but hasn't put them into effect. He's worried that if he leaves Yogi behind, the other bear would get into serious trouble or even killed. Despite volunteering as Yogi's conscience, Boo Boo isn't as morally pure as he'd like to be. It was here that Boo Boo began wearing a purple bowtie, purchased by his new owner to give him more style. It was also here that he attained his love of reading and fine cuisine. His new owner treated him well. However, after three years, the man was arrested for similar shady dealings that helped him to acquire Boo Boo. The young bear was then transferred to Jellystone Park, where he met Yogi the very next day.
