Full Name: Hokey Wolf
Age: 52, January 28, 1965 (Aquarius)
Gender: Male
Species: Wolf (Timber wolf)
Residence:
In a cave home in the Middle East of North America (U.S.A.)
Personality:
Hokey is essentially a wolf that loves to have refined tastes and isn't one to not make fun of others or joke around in general. He keeps a cool and collected mind, helping him focus on what he likes to do best, con-artistry. Using his charms, good looks, and adaptable personality typically saves him from truly having to work for money, or food, or other things. He uses his brain more than his brawn because he not only feels more satisfied in challenging someone in a mental game, but he doesn't exactly like damaging his fists in a punch out. He hates putting a lot of physical effort into his plans, as he never did like having to work and wanted to get things the "easy way".
To this extent, he will also try to back out of physical confrontations, but that doesn't mean he won't fight if he's backed into a corner. This can lead to Hokey being one of the more anti-hero characters, as while he does generally do the right thing, the way in how he attempts to obtain the goal are through a more deceitful and manipulative can be jarring. That or him leaving when he is most needed. He sees himself as a gentleman who can waver others into giving him whatever he wants, while hoping that they don't catch onto his plan. He also isn't one for children as he believes he isn't ready to handle that type of scenario ever. He also can be jealous of someone whenever they are given more praise for things that he would do or have expertise in, and that can hinder him or drive him.
Likes: Fancy foods and desserts, his collar, bow tie, and hat, smart opponents, and obedient children.
Dislikes:
Frozen or generic foods, ugly people, mean people, stupid people, cheap alcoholic items, tobacco items, certain modern practices (such as anything besides heterosexuality and asexuality, various methods in how children should be raised and cared for, etc.), disobedient children, infants and toddlers, someone interrupting him, people touching him in places that he feels they should not be, and the American government.
Talent and Abilities:
Hokey has a lot for his niche, but most important of them all would be how he uses his mind and words to entice whoever he is conversing with. Along with that, he is seemingly durable for surviving multiple hits from a robot sent out to exterminate him, and knows how to escape a drastic situation whenever it calls for a retreat. He can fight though, and so he has watched a few movies, one of them being the well known video game series Tekken. Can run very fast or long periods of time, and is fast enough to escape fired bullets. His charm makes people swoon over him with his fast talk and accent.
Weaknesses:
As good as Hokey seems to be or at least think of himself as, he does have liabilities that can really be something. He isn't exactly the most trustworthy friend to have, because like Yogi found out, he may or may not frame his friends to further his gain. He may underestimate his opponent when he is facing off against them, like dropping his guard to talk some smack, or just being cocky, though he won't do anything too reckless since he wants to savor his life. His preferred way of achieving his goals are not precisely what his friends would do, so he may act as a lone wolf sometimes to do what he thinks is right in his way. He has the mindset of someone kinda stuck in the 50's and 60's with a little bit of the Great Depression vibe going through it as well, making him extremely hard to convince or add another spectacle to a problem or just ideas themselves. Hokey also isn't very comfortable around young children, like infants and toddlers, because he doesn't want to play the "father figure" of it.
History:
Hokey's backstory is something he'd rather not mention to others, even Ding-a-ling. When he was young he always despised doing work, something that he had to do because his family wasn't in the best of economical situations, and after a lot of arguments and fights, Hokey ended up running away from it all. With him being one of the few kids out on the street, he learned his street smarts quickly and ways in how to con people into giving him the last of their food or shelter. Growing up from that he matured into a person that would think highly of himself and try to reach for things that he knew he couldn't buy, the finer things in life. All that said, he's been a one on their own type until he met Ding-a-ling Wolf. He certainly found a glimpse of him somewhere in the boy's being because he took him in without a second thought, and thus began to teach him the ropes and what he knew about con-artistry.
Anything Else?:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBywaYaJvAU Hokey's Theme: Rock O' Motion - Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World [Budokai 4] (Hironobu Kageyama)
Accent (Can do a great Sgt. Bilko impersonation, since that's his voice), He can also manipulate it to sound like Yogi Bear, Quick Draw McGraw, Baba Louie, Huckleberry Hound, Augie Doggie, Super Snooper, Mr. Jinks, Dixie, Snagglepuss and Snaggletooth, and Yahooey. character tics, that kind of stuff. He has quite the competitive relationship with another con artist that uses more of their looks to assist them in their heists as well as words.
